In continuation of our letter of the 16th of May,
I have the honour to transmit for the information of Mr
Secretary Lyttelton a copy of a further letter which we have
received from Mr Chadwick embodying his recommendation re-
garding the proposal to raise the height of the dam in con-
nection with the Kowloon Water Works, Hong Kong. It will
be observed that a further report by Mr Chadwick will follow.
2. I return herewith the original enclosures to your
letter of the 27th April, No. 14089/1904.
